If you are not satisfied with your AllTranscripts subscription for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase — no questions asked.
1. Eligibility
This refund policy covers all paid AllTranscripts subscriptions (monthly and yearly) purchased through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited. You can request a full refund within 30 days from the date of the original purchase or the most recent renewal payment.
You are not required to provide a reason for your refund request.
2. How to request a refund
- Email billing@alltranscripts.app from the address associated with your subscription.
- Include your Paddle order number (you can find it in the receipt Paddle emailed at the time of purchase) or the email used at checkout.
- That's it — no form, no survey, no follow-up questions required.
Alternatively, you can reach Paddle's buyer support directly at paddle.net using the same order details.
3. Processing
We review and approve eligible refund requests within 3 business days. Paddle then issues the refund to your original payment method. The actual time it takes for the refund to appear on your card or bank statement depends on your bank and the payment method (typically 5–10 business days).
4. After a refund
When a refund is issued, your paid plan is cancelled immediately and your account reverts to the free tier with its standard usage quota. Cached transcripts, summaries and audio files we already produced on your behalf remain available to the public cache; this is not affected by refunds.
5. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel from the customer portal link in your last Paddle receipt or email billing@alltranscripts.app before the renewal date. If you forget and get charged, the 30-day window starts on the renewal date — you can still ask for a refund.
6. EU / UK consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU or the UK, statutory consumer-protection law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal from the moment of purchase. Our 30-day policy is more generous and applies in addition to (not instead of) your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits your rights as a consumer.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a charge, please email us first — we will refund eligible requests immediately. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first may result in the account being suspended pending review, because chargebacks carry costs and dispute timelines beyond our (or Paddle's) control.
8. Abuse
This policy is intended in good faith. Repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, or refund requests after substantial use of the service to avoid paying, may be declined and the account suspended. The free tier exists precisely so you can evaluate the product without paying.
